If there's any band that fully embodies what we know as '80s metal, it’s Norway’s Deathhammer.
These two maniacs have poisoned their bloodstreams for years by obsessively listening
to the maniacal, witchy, and satanic extreme albums of the ‘80s in the name of "true metal",
and they’ve translated that into blasphemic blackened thrash metal. Their concept reflects
the raw, savage spirit of '80s German and South American thrash and black metal, as well as early
'90s pure black metal. The result is a deadly slab of raw metal. What sets Deathhammer apart
among countless other "old school" revivalist bands is their characteristic identity and approach.
We spoke to drummer Sadomancer for this interview, and it's finally complete today.
