Accept have unveiled a brand-new version of their timeless anthem Balls To The Wall, bringing together an impressive lineup of guest musicians that includes Judas Priest frontman Rob Halford, Scorpions guitarist Matthias Jabs and Pantera bassist Rex Brown. The release serves as the first taste of the band's upcoming anniversary collection, Teutonic Titans 1976–2026, which will arrive on September 4 through Napalm Records.
The ambitious release marks five decades of Accept's influence on heavy metal and revisits some of the band's most celebrated songs with a different cast of legendary musicians on every track. Spearheaded by guitarist Wolf Hoffmann, the project features 19 newly recorded versions of classic songs and brings together around 50 artists from across the metal world, making it one of the most extensive collaborations in the band's history.
Production, mixing and mastering were handled by Chris "Zeuss" Harris, whose work gives the classic material a modern punch while preserving the spirit that made these songs genre staples. Rather than simply recreating familiar recordings, the album presents each track with a unique combination of vocalists and instrumentalists, offering longtime fans a fresh perspective on Accept's catalog.
Reflecting on the project, Wolf Hoffmann described the album as the perfect way to celebrate the band's 50th anniversary, expressing his gratitude to the many friends, peers and fellow musicians who contributed to the recordings. Spanning material originally released between I'm A Rebel and Eat The Heat, the collection pays tribute to Accept's enduring legacy while highlighting the respect they continue to command throughout the global metal community.
